Finally, some hints about IIR filter design using Matlab:
Rp = passband ripple = -20*log10(1-delta1)
Rs = stopband ripple = -20*log10(delta2)
where delta1 and delta2 are the pass and stopband tolerances we defined in lecture on Monday.We will discuss these and other practical issues on Monday, but I wanted you to have this info in case you'd like to finish the Matlab project 3 over the weekend.
