- 12/11/04:
Dr. Wage's extra office hours prior to the final exam:
- Sunday 12/12: 3:00-4:30pm
- Monday 12/13: 2:00-6:00pm
- Tuesday 12/14: 10:30am-noon
- 11/30/04:
The final exam time was originally listed incorrectly on the syllabus.
The final exam is December 14, 2004 from 1:30-4:15pm.
The HTML and PDF versions of the syllabus have been corrected. See
the Syllabus page to view/print out a
revised copy.
The final exam is cumulative. It will cover all lectures, problem
sets 1-10, and Matlab projects I-III. The exam will be closed book,
but three 8.5 x 11 inch sheets of notes (both sides) are allowed.
As announced in class, Problem Set 9 (posted today) is optional. If
you choose to turn it in, it is due on Tuesday, 12/7. If you choose
not to turn it in, you are still responsible for the material, but
your homework average will only be computed based on Problem Sets
1-8.
- 11/4/04:
Dr. Wage will not have any office hours on 11/9, 11/16, or 11/18 due to
travel.
Eric St. Pierre will have extra office hours from 1-2pm on 11/9 in the
ECE conference room (next to the ECE dept. office).
- 10/28/04:
Exam 2 is Tuesday, November 9.
This exam will cover material through
the lecture on October 28, including problem sets 1-7 and Matlab
Project I. The exam will be closed book, but two 8.5 x 11 inch
sheets of notes (both sides) are allowed.
A revised syllabus has been posted to reflect the changes in Problem
Set dates. Problem Set 7 is going out later than originally planned.
Other dates have been changed accordingly. There will now only be 10
problem sets during the whole semester.

- 10/19/04:
RAT Bonus credit: Fill out a midterm survey by Thursday 10/21
and get 5 points added to your RAT score.
Matlab Project II has been posted. See the Assignments page for more information.
This project has an individual component and a team component. Please
read the instructions carefully!
The syllabus has been modified to allow time for the group
presentations of Matlab Project II on 11/11/04. See the Syllabus page
to print out a revised copy so that you'll have a correct list of the
reading assignments.
- 9/29/04:
Dr. Wage will have extra office hours from 4-6pm on Wednesday,
September 29.
- 9/22/04:
An updated syllabus has been posted. As announced in class yesterday,
please note the change in the
reading assignments for Thursday 9/23 (and dates beyond that).
Note that a link has been added to the homepage to allow you to download
errata for the Discrete Time Signal Processing textbook. (Scroll down
to textbook information to find it.)
- 9/16/04:
