Prof. Wage's office hours during finals week:
- Monday, December 12: 4:00pm-5:00pm
- Tuesday, December 13: 11:30am-12:30pm, 2:30pm-3:30pm
- Wednesday, December 14: 11:00am-12:00pm, 3:00pm-6:00pm
- Thursday, December 15: 11:00am-12:30pm
- The final exam is Thursday, December
15. As announced in class on December 8, the final exam will consist
of two parts:
- Part 1 consists of multiple-choice questions. You will be given
a maximum of one hour to complete the multiple-choice part of the
exam. Part 1 is closed-book, closed-note. No calculators will be
allowed.
- Part 2 consists of problems to be solved. This part is
closed-book, but you will be allowed to use three 8.5 x 11 inch
sheets of notes (both sides). Calculators are allowed for this
part.
Note that some additional practice problems have been posted on the
Assignments page. These problems are
not to be turned in, but you may find them useful in studying for the
exam. Solutions have been posted on the Solutions page.

Problem Set 9 and Matlab Project V have been posted. You will work in
the same groups on Project V as you did on Project IV. Note that the
due date for PS9 is December 6. This is a change from the original
syllabus. The syllabus page has been updated to reflect this minor
change. Project V is due on the last day of class (December 8).
- The pltdefaults.m file can
be used to reset Matlab's default plot font sizes and line
thicknesses. You may find this useful in generating the plots for
your team's presentation of Project IV.
- Matlab Project IV has been posted. You will work in teams on
this project. See this file for
a list of team assignments. Note that you will work with your new
team on in-class problems starting on 11/8/05.
- 10/18/05: The Matlab Project 3
Questions and Answers page contains hints for Project 3. As
individual students or groups email in questions about the project,
the answers will be posted on this page. Note: The questions will be
posted, but the page will not identify the students who asked them.
This page will be updated as new questions are asked.
- 10/4/05:
- Dr. Wage will hold extra office hours on 10/4 from 5:30-7:30pm.
- Dr. Wage is out of town on Thursday 10/6/05. Prof. Jill Nelson
(Sci and Tech II, Room 241) will have office hours for ECE 410 students from
11:30am-12:30pm on 10/6 (during Dr. Wage's normal office hours).
Prof. Nelson will also proctor Exam 1 during the regular class period
on 10/6.
- Grading notes: The following list shows the problems were graded
on each of the homeworks. Credit was given for attempting the
solutions to the other problems, but they were not marked
otherwise.

- 9/20/05: Prof. Wage's after-class office hours (3:00-3:30pm) are
cancelled for Thursday 9/22 due to travel.
