Announcements
- 11/18/03: Possible make-up class
There is a chance that one class during the term will have to be
rescheduled due to the instructor's travel schedule. Please reserve
Tuesday March 9, 2004 and Tuesday May 4, 2004 as possible make-up
dates.
- 1/27/04: the university has cancelled class due to inclement
weather. Problem set 1 will be due next Tuesday (2/3).

2/17/04:
- Tuesday May 4 (originally designated as ``Reading Day'') will be used
as a makeup date for the class that was cancelled due to snow on 1/27/04.
- The class on March 30 must be rescheduled due to a conflict
with a workshop the instructor must attend. The original makeup date
was scheduled for March 9th (during spring break). With the
cancellation due to snow, Exam 1 now falls on March 9th. Students who
are available to take the exam on March 9th will do so. Students who
are not available then should email Professor Wage to arrange for an
alternative time to take the exam (any time between 3/2 and 3/9).
Note that Exam 1 will cover material up through lecture on 2/24 and
problem set 5. It will not cover material presented in lecture
on 3/2.

- 3/23/04:
- Reminder: no class on 3/30/04!
- PS7 is posted and is due 4/6/04.a
- Matlab project 2 (Exercise 5.1 in Matlab book) is due
4/20/04. See assignments page for details.
- Matlab project 3 (Exercise 7.6 in Matlab book) is due 5/4/04 (last
day of class). See assignments page for details.
- Next exam is on 4/13/04. It covers material through lecture on
3/23/04, problem sets 1-7, and Matlab project 1. Two formula sheets
(8.5 x 11, both sides) are allowed.
- An updated syllabus, which reflects date changes for PS7 and beyond,
has been posted in HTML format only (PDF file has not been updated).
