  • Cameron Nowzari

    Cameron Nowzari is currently an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at George Mason University. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in June 2009 from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences in Sept 2013 from the University of California, San Diego.

    Dr. Nowzari's research interests are in the broad area of dynamics, controls, and robotics. More specifically, he is interested in the analysis and control of complex distributed and/or networked systems and spreading processes. A large motivation for the specific problems include minimizing energy or wireless communication, efficient computation of control strategies or decisions, and the use of sparse sensing and/or control. His work has applications in a wide number of areas including mobile sensors, autonomous robots, allocation of resources, public health and epidemiology, network protection, and marketing campaigns.

  • Bijan Jabbari

    Bijan Jabbari is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia, USA, and an affiliated faculty with ENST- Paris, France. He has held industrial positions with major communications service providers and networking equipment organizations developing data communications products. He has founded innovative laboratories for Internet and wireless communications research and is conducting research through funding provided by National Science Foundation and other funding organizations.

  • Avesta Sasan

    Avesta Sasan received the B.Sc. (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Engineering, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California Irvine, California. Before joining GMU, Dr. Sasan worked at the industry for few years. He joined Broadcom Co. Office of CTO in 2009, researching and developing methodologies for signal and power integrity analysis, physical design and implementation, etc. in 2014, He joined Qualcomm Co. VLSI Technology team, developing in house EDA for yield aware, and voltage noise aware, and IR aware timing signoff. In 2016 Dr. Sasan joined George Mason University where he currently works as an Associate Professor, conducting research and teaching courses in the areas listed bellows.
