Rhein Tech Laboratories makes facilities and equipment available to our research teams. The company offers visits to their labs for students in our embedded systems courses.

The Aerospace Corporation has employees who participate on PhD committees and research initiatives in radio-frequency-related projects.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) collaborates in research projects, as well as on graduate committees.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) supports our faculty and PhD students' research and funds several graduate and undergraduate students during the summer.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) supports our research.

Office of Naval Research (ONR) Undersea Signal Processing Program supports projects for our signal-processing faculty, such as those related to random matrix theory analysis of adaptive beamformers.
 

Enjoy Our Location

Our department is conveniently located on the Fairfax Campus and is easily accessible by Metro, bus, or private vehicle. You can take the Metro to a baseball game, hike nearby trails, or go boating on the Potomac River.

Mason offers frequent shuttle service between the Vienna Metro station and the campus. Dulles International Airport and Reagan National Airport connect you to domestic and foreign travel, while Union Station offers rail service to many locations on the East Coast.
